We brought some exposure to the OSU STAR House, a shelter for homeless youth. The house was attempting to secure state funding to stay open 24-7. The house did end up securing the funding. I shot all the footage, provided the opening monologue voiceover and conducted the on-camera interviews.
We wanted to add some fun encouragement to our biggest fundraiser — the State of Ohio's Combined Charitable Campaign. I wrote the script featuring our campaign coordinator and worked with the videographer to iron out details of the shoot, which took place in our vacated office building, empty because of the coronavirus. Our goal was to raise $253,000, or 12% of the state's $2.1 million goal, and we exceeded that. The video drew 293 views, but that is nearly 4x what the typical internal video receives.
I pitched USAC on creating a video to distribute internally so staff at Ohio State University would better understand its mission and perhaps engage with it more. I wrote the script and storyboard and directed the action on the day of shooting.

Our team created a video to go alongside a story I wrote on the Historic Costume and Textiles Collection's extensive button collection. Our videographer generated the video but I conducted the interview. The video was featured prominently on osu.edu.
