I wrote the pitch for Park National Bank's unique church commercial lending niche, and the Columbus Dispatch ran the story on the front page of its religion section.

The Trust and Investments department at Park National Bank was lacking any strong, regular presence in the local media. I worked with the editor at the Newark Advocate to create a monthly column for our experts to write about timely topics. The placements did drive new business conversations, which was a key goal. It also ensured the competition didn't have the only voice in local media.

The Advocate had a special section on businesses that find it important to give back to the community. I pitched and landed Park National Bank as the cover story that included an interview with our chairman, focused on giving back as ingrained in the bank culture and which highlighted the bank as the top United Way contributor in Licking County.
